Solicitors' Accounts Rules

Guidance on issues relating to the Solicitors' Accounts Rules can be obtained by contacting the Professional Ethics Helpline at the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).  Their number is 0870 606 2577 (from within the UK) or by calling +44 (0)1527 504450 and asking for the Professional Ethics Helpline iof you are calling from overseas. Their lines are open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Alternatively, the SRA produce guidance about the Solicitors' Accounts Rules 1998 (which is regularly updated) and which can currently be found in the Code of Conduct section of the SRA's web site.
